As much as I want to make my own movie, with a real budget, I have a hard as hell time asking for money to put into something I can't promise a finacial outcome, not because I don't believe in my script, but because I don't believe people will come out to a Zombie film really, hehe.

I have soooo much respect for anyone that can get their film made on their own, real props and all. I can do the blood and guts etc. I just can't find the time and people to help for no cost, we are a capitalist society after all.

I think Romero has it right by living in Canada and making his movies there, They want to make a film for art sake and get paied when it's done and the money comes in. Unlike America, where it's like how much, and then someone will do it.

The only reason this comes to mind is I just watch the enire Sleepaway Camp box set finally, and though it's good, I found myself picking some of the films apart, then I sat there saying to a friend, "at least they made a film, let alone 3, so who am I to say anything?"
